Hospitality Summer Couple - Lake Como - Excellent Salary and accommodation
Greycoat Lumleys has the pleasure of representing a beautiful rental property on lake Como and is helping the Private owners to recruit a Hospitality couple for the 2024 summer season. The role would run from April until October with some flexibility in regards the start and finish date.
The privately owned lake-front Villa can sleep up to 12 guests and the client seeks energetic and dynamic people to provide service on the shore of the prestigious lake Como. The property is centrally located between Como and Bellagio, finished to a very high standard sand recently refurbished. The successful candidates’ main objectives will be to take care of the property and its facilities in general and to look after the guests and their various needs in particular.
Daily duties will include (but are not limited to)
Meet and assist guests upon arrival and politely introduce yourself
Take care of luggage handling
Assist with tying boats, helping people get off and on the boat
Ask the right questions to get to know the guests and establish amiable contact throughout the stay to assess and ensure guest satisfaction
Assist with the overall maintenance of the property
Pool Cleaning & Maintenance
Take care of basic F&B services (serving breakfast, drinks, setting the table, etc)
Prepare simple dishes and snacks
Take care of basic maintenance services - (temperature setting, charging of lamps,
changing a light bulb, etc.)
Assist with tech related enquiries/secretary service (setting up a movie in the cinema, printing, video calls, speakers, etc)
Restocking of bar and goods around the property
Run errands (for example drive to Como to get flowers)
Offer packing/unpacking service, pressing and laundry, shoe polish, etc.
F&B experience
Prior experience in a luxury food and beverage service capacity will be very advantageous
Creativity & problem solving skills
Autonomous initiative taker
Flexible work mentality
The property is not accessible by car and there are several flights of stairs (physical activity is an essential part of the job)
All-rounder - multi tasking is something you should enjoy
Friendly, kind and helpful
Required form any Applicant
Valid work permit for Italy or EU passport
Fluent English and desired Italian also. Advantageous to have another language such as Spanish, French or German are.
International work experience in the luxury hospitality industry
