After-School Nanny Job

After-School Nanny, Chelsea, South West London Start Date: January / February 2026 A lovely family based in Chelsea is seeking an experienced, caring, and proactive after-school nanny to look after their 5-year-old son. The role would suit someone energetic, kind, and confident in setting gentle but clear boundaries to support an active and curious child. The family has a cleaner, so the nanny can focus on childcare and creating a fun, structured after-school routine. Responsibilities: • School pick-up and after-school supervision • Preparing and serving a healthy dinner for the child • Bath time and evening wind-down routine • Ensuring the school uniform is clean and ready for the next day • Supporting homework • Providing full-time care during half-term holidays Role Details: • Days: Monday to Friday • Hours: 3:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (Full-time during half-term) • Driver: Ideal, but not essential • Cooking: For the child; if time allows, preparing simple meals for the parents would be appreciated • Pets: None in the household • Salary: £20–£25 gross per hour (depending on experience) This is a wonderful opportunity for a nurturing and organized nanny who enjoys supporting young children’s development through fun activities, consistency, and positive encouragement.
